Persons With Disabilities (PWD's)

Everyone born is not perfect. We all live in a society where 90% of people can hear what they want to hear, can see what they want to see, can run, play, gossip about the happenings, study for their future and do what they want to do in their lives.

But there are those who cannot. Those who cannot feel, cannot see the beauty of nature, cannot walk and run like normal people, cannot think about any problem, in other words they are entirely different from normal people. Yes we are talking about persons with disabilities (PWD’s). PWD’s are often termed as “SPECIAL” persons.

“SPECIAL” is a unique word used to represent an entirely different unique perspective. We term them special but treat them to be useless. They seem to be a burden on our society. Do we actually know how they live? How they survive in this ruthless world? What they think about the society? They cannot think, but we can. They are known SPECIAL, because they need special care, they need special love and above all special response from the society. They are not animals, they are humans and a major part of our society. No one knows who’s going to be like them. Think a little.

  1. I don't think PWDs need "a special response from society". There is nothing special about meeting the basic needs of another human being.

    1. Yes! You are right. They don't need a special response from the society, but on the other hand deserve all the equal rights as the normal people have. There is nothing special about meeting the basic needs of other human being but basic needs gain much importance when they are not provided.
